As it has been informed by YASIA, on March 16, 2004, the Parliament of Yakutia held “governmental hour”. It was devoted to the reorganisation of JSC ALROSA into OJSC. The chairman of the government Egor Borisov made a report on the issue.

The deputies, uluses heads and officials are troubled by gossips about JSC ALROSA reorganisation into OJSC. These gossips are based on the announcements of Russian officials, in particular, the chairman of ALROSA Supervisory Council Alexei Kudrin. According to the prime minister of Yakutia, there are no official documents or direct instructions about it.
