Romanov’s golden diadem will be demonstrated in the Hermitage
The golden diadem presented to the granddaughter of Alexander Pushkin by Mikhail Romanov will be brought to St.-Petersburg. The small crown will be exhibited on Monday, March 1 in the Hermitage and will be demonstrated in course of the next two weeks.
The diadem was made of gold, silver, rubies and diamonds in 1890 to order of Mikhail Romanov, the grandson of Nikolai I. The jewellery item was a present for Mikhail Romanov’s fiancée.
Now the diadem is kept in London. Its demonstration has become real thanks to Artem Tarasov, A Russian businessman. He proposes to collect money and to buy the masterpiece for the Moscow Kremlin.
