RIA Press-Line informs that In course of five years 17 mln roubles will be invested into diamonds searching in Krasnoyarsk krai. In 2004 the sum of investments will amount to 4 mln. Experts predict that this year the volume of diamonds found in the region may total to 200 thou ct.

Large diamond mining companies have already shown their interest in Krasnoyarsk deposits. For instance, BHP Billiton has become concerned about a joint venture creation in Krasnoyarsk.
