On February 18 there was a historical exhibition Ancient Ladoga Antiquities opened in St.-Petersburg. Scandinavian jewellery items, amber, cornelian and rock crystal beads, a part of an ancient Arabian silver coin, bronze pendants and many other exciting archaeological finds are demonstrated at the Show. All the exponents are dated from IX – XII centuries and were found at the area of the Ancient Ladoga. They have never been exhibited before.

The exhibition will close on April 15, 2004.
