As it has been reported by YASIA, on February 21 and 22 the delegation of ALROSA management and the deputies of Yakut State Assembly visited three uluses in the Republic.

The delegation consisted of ALROSA Company’s CEO Vladimir Kalitin, the vice-presidents of the company Alexander Morozkin and Vasiliy Vlasov, the director of Nyurba mining complex Sergey Alyabyev, the director of Vilyuinvest Company Anatoliy Antonov and the head of the deputy working group for ALROSA development Alexander Uarov.

Among the problems discussed during the visit there were the question of ALROSA Company’s cooperation with local population, the possibility to work at its factories. Great attention was paid to the status of the company. The inhabitants of Yakut uluses want ALROSA to remain under the State control.
