Teleinform Agency reports that on February 25, 2004, the administration of Irkutsk region and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia announced an auction for gold deposits selling. There are seven sites liable to geological exploration, gold searching and mining put up for tenders. Geological works, according to the auction terms, are to start within 12 months after the licence obtaining.
