Expert centre informs that in last year Russia became the third in the world in diamonds production. Its result was 23 mln ct of raw diamonds.

Australia is the world’s leader in this sector – it produced 33.6 mln ct, Botswana is the second, its result being 28.4 mln ct. Among largest diamonds producers are Congo (18.2 mln ct), South Africa (10.9 mln ct), Angola (6 mln ct) and Canada (5 mln ct).
