REGIONS.RU announces that a deputy of the State Duma of Russia Anatoliy Greshnevikov (Rodina group) has acted with an initiative to conduct parliamentary investigation concerning the Minister of Culture Mikhail Shvydkoi.

The deputy has informed that in 1997 there was a criminal case taking place: Anna Efimovich, a curiosity shop director, was accused of jewellery smuggling.

The director assisted in values transporting from Russia to Switzerland under the guise of their demonstration in Swiss museums. She used his acquaintance with Mr Shvydkoi in this affair, the deputy claims.
