Kaliningrad State Broadcasting Company reports that there were 400 fake jewellery items confiscated from one of Kaliningrad shops. Police considers this jewellery to be smuggled. All the items have fake assay marks.

In 2004 it is the second party confiscated. The first confiscation took place in January, that time over 300 silver imported jewellery items with fake assay marks or even without marks at all were revealed.
