Dita.ru publishes that the police of Magadan region revealed about 130 crimes in the field of mining industry in 2003. 91.7 kg of precious metals were confiscated (in 2002 – 68.4 kg), 75 legal proceedings were instituted in 2003 in the region. The material damage caused was estimated at 7.7 mln roubles in 2003, in 2002 – 3.9 mln roubles.
