Norilsk Nickel Company plans to invest 500 mln roubles into geological exploitation

The head of the State Geological Service P. Sadovnik has announced that now there is a growth in geological exploration works marked in Russia and in particular in Krasnoyarsk region. Moreover, 80% of these works investing are made by mining companies.
In 2002 30 bln roubles were allocated for new deposits searching, in 2003 this figure was about 40 bln roubles. In 2004 Norilsk Nickel budget will invest about 500 mln roubles for geological exploration.
