As it has been informed by Interfax, the president and the chairman of Rosbank Eugene Ivanov has accepted Norilsk Nickel Company’s offer to lead a gold mining company formed on the basis of CJSC Polus.

In this connection Mr Ivanov is going to resign from chairman of Rosbank. On February 19, 2004, there will be an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting held in the bank, its agenda includes new board of the bank election.

The representatives of MMC Norilsk Nickel had announced that a gold mining company would be formed on the basis of CJSC Polus, Matrosov’s Pit and Lena Gold Company in 2004.
