REGIONS.RU reports that two passengers of Tynda-Kislovodsk train were arrested in Novosibirsk for illegal gold transporting. The total weight of gold confiscated is 9 kg 550 gr. Its cost varies from 2 to 4 mln roubles.

The men arrested turned out to be gold miners from Bodaibo, Irkutsk region. They would have paid 2 thou dollars for this gold transportation to Novosibirsk.

The investigation is now being held.
