As it was published by RBC, Russian gold miners have increased the gold production by 3,5% against 2002 – till 176 tons 902,5 kg.

Krasnoyarsk region takes the first place among the gold mining regions of Russia. 30 tons 45,8 kg were mined there. Among the leading regions are also Magadan region – 26 tons 307 kg, Sakha (Yakutia) – 20 tons 301.5 kg, Habarovsk region – 17 tons 683,6 kg, Irkutsk region – 16 tons 628,5 kg, Amursk region – 13 tons 102 kg.
