As it has been informed by REGIONS.RU, the president of Yakutia Vyacheslav Shtyrov met the heads of the regional economic subjects. The president appreciated the results achieved in social and economic spheres. Practically all the plans have been fulfilled. Diamonds mining enterprises have been working stably. The launch of Nyurba mining complex was named the most important event of the year. This complex cost $500mln to JSC ALROSA, annually diamonds worth $400mln will be mined there.

In course of the recent two years the volumes of gold mining in the region have grown significantly. This year over 19 tons of the precious metal have been mined in the region.
