As it has been informed by the department on mining industry and natural resources of Chelyabinsk region, only 11 enterprises from 22 having licences for precious metals mining in the region have addressed their applications for quotas allocation. The quotas for 2004 were established at the volume 4821 kg of gold, 22 937,5 kg of silver and 15 kg of platinum.
