The chairman of the Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin held a meeting with the governor of Kaliningrad region Vladimir Egorov. Various topics were discussed at the meeting, in particular, the problem of amber stealing from Kaliningrad Amber Complex.

Mr Egorov admitted that the police of Kaliningrad Amber Complex has begun working better, but amber is still stolen from the enterprise. The head of the Accounts Chamber has positively estimated the situation in the region, however, there are cases of offences connected with illegal use of federal money.
