The world’s largest black diamond came from Paris to Moscow for a day
According to REGIONS.RU, The world’s largest black diamond Korloff Noir came from Paris to Moscow for a day. The diamond was demonstrated on December 18, 2003 at the opening of Korloff Company’s jewellery boutique. The insurance sum of the diamond is $37 mln.
The masterpiece of jewellery art was presented by the famous figure skater Marina Anisina. This unique gemstone is considered to be the largest black diamond in the world. It weighs 88 ct. After 1920, Russian family Karlovs sold this legendary gemstone to a diamonds seller, but the name “Karloff” had become the name of the diamond.
