The world’s largest black diamond was demonstrated in Kiev at a party
According to Korrespondent.net, the world’s largest black diamond Korloff was demonstrated in Kiev at a party on December 7, 2003. The gemstone spent six hours in Ukraine and then left it. Now it is kept in France.
The world’s largest black diamonds is supposed to be priceless and is not for sale. Its weight is 88 ct. It used to belong to Russian aristocratic family Karlovs-Sapozhnikovs and was transported from Russia in 1920. The diamonds had changed several owners before in 1978 it began to belong to a jeweller wishing to open his own business.
Now a famous French Jewellery House has been named Korloff Paris after the gemstone. This company creates expensive jewellery and luxurious accessories.
