Ukrinform reports that the world’s jewellery market consumes almost 40% of Ukrainian jewellery. This information was provided by the deputy director of Jewellers Association of Ukraine Grigoriy Mozharovskiy.

According to Mr Mozharovskiy, this year the sector has exported 37,6% of its production. The annual volume of jewellery in 2003 has amounted to 13,5 thou tons.

Exclusive, hand-made jewellery is of greatest demand.
