RosBusinessConsulting reports that in 2004 it is planned to invest over 2,5 bln roubles into geological searching works in Chukotka region. The appropriate programme has been already signed by the regional government.

The first part of the programme is ore gold mining development. The authorities lay their hopes on Valunisty, Kupol and Mayskoe deposits. The second part of the programme is connected with platinum searching.
