The press service of MMC Norilsk Nickel announces that the company has signed a long-term agreement with Bureau Veritas Rus Company, the official representative of international company Bureau Veritas in Russia. The subject of the agreement is consulting services in the field of quality and ecological management system integration according to international standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:96.

The strategy of production development till 2015 approved by Norilsk Nickel board in March 2003 provides significant decrease of industrial influence on environment by means of enterprises modernisation and ecologically harmful productions closing down. MMC Norilsk Nickel spends about $200 mln for technological renovation.
