Altapress informs that the contest for the right to mine jewellery stones has been announced in Altai krai. The plant put up for auction is situated in Charysh region, there are pink quartz, garnet, beryl and some other jewellery stones resources there.

The auction will take place on February 27, 2004. The licence will be issued for ten years.
