According to REGIONS.RU, a smuggler was arrested for diamonds, emeralds, silver and gold selling in Kaliningrad.

The smuggler was the director of Baltesexpress Comapny. From October 31, 2003, he has managed to sell a large batch of precious metals and gemstones: about 200 diamonds and emeralds — totally 1692 ct, 5 kg of silver and 400 g of gold. All precious metals and gemstones were imported illegally from Poland.
