ABN publishes that in January-October 2003 St.-Petersburg branch of NOMOS Bank sold 410 kg of gold and 7,4 tons of silver in bullions. The metals sold cost about 181 mln roubles. These figures exceed those of the last year: in January-October 2002 there were 114 kg of gold and 2 tons of silver sold. In the region the Bank cooperates with Russkie Samotcvety, Jewellery Factory Alfa, Alfa-Carat Group. Memorial coins are extremely popular with numismatists — these coins are of both collection and art value. 1630 memorial coins were sold in the region in period mentioned.
