ForUm informs that today there is no diamonds deposits in Ukraine. According to the head of geological department Anton Zvizdinskiy, normally about $300 mln are required for a diamond deposit exploitation, while in Ukraine only $10mln are available annually for this purpose. The money can be spent on the exploration of diamonds-promising areas.

Now about 113-120 mln ct of diamonds are mined in the world a year.
