According to REGIONS.RU, 13268 kg of gold have been mined in Irkutsk region since the beginning of the year, while in 2002 13282 kg of the precious metal were mined. This year the result of OJSC Lena Gold is over 7,5 tons of gold. There were 48 gold mining enterprises in the region that had got the quota for mining. 12 of them have not started their deposits exploitation at all.
