The director of Zapolyarye branch of Norilsk Nickel Vitaliy Bobrov met the deputies of Krasnoyarsk krai’s Legislative assembly. The agenda of the meeting included, in particular, the questions of environmental protection: the utilization of sulphur rejections, the development of legislative basis in the field of ecology and natural resources.

Mr Bobrov emphasised that today within the frameworks of complex ecological programme there are modern purifying technologies and constructions established and developed in the company together with domestic experts and foreign specialists. The deputies mentioned that Norilsk Nickel pays unusually for industrial enterprises significant attention to the questions of the environmental protection in the region.
