NewsProm.Ru published that on September 27, 203, the director of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovskiy arrived to Salekhard. The head of the hermitage and the authorities will sign an agreement, which provides, in particular, the expansion of cultural and scientific relationships between the museum and the northern region, assistance in the world cultural heritage exploration and maintenance etc. The governor of Yamal Yuriy Neelov will pass to Mikhail Piotrovskiy the Byzantine silver bowl found in 1982 in the region.

In its turn the State Hermitage intends to present two galvanic copies of the bowl to the Yamal. The bowl’s original, which is of the world’s significance and great value, will be kept in the constant exposition of the State Hermitage.
