Bazoviy Element Company (Basic Element) disproves the information about 50% of RUSAL’s shares acquiring from R. Abramovich
According to AK&M, Bazoviy Element Company (Basic Element) disproves the information about 50% of RUSAL’s shares acquiring from Millhouse Capital, controlled by R. Abramovich. Earlier Vedomosti reported that Roman Abramovich had sold 50% of RUSAL’s (Russian Aluminium Company) shares to Oleg Deripaska. Millhouse Capital refused to comment on the situation. Russian Aluminium is the world’s second aluminium manufacturer. The company was created in March 2000 as a result of CIS aluminium factories merge. The share of the company in Russian aluminium market is 75%, the world’s aluminium market — 10%.
