IA REGNUM reports that the Accounts Chamber of Russia has spread the information about lack of payments for natural resources exploitation in Murmansk region. The heads of the enterprises mentioned in the report held a press conference during which this information was disproved. In particular, according to the CEO of MMC Norilsk Nickel Mikhail Prohorov, the information spread through mass media was not detailed and MMC indeed didn’t broke the law. The law on natural resources itself is noyt detailed enough and sometimes such misunderstandings occur.

At the press conference the heads of largest enterprises in the sector of precious and non-ferrous metals answered a number of questions concerning the development of Murmansk region and its social programmes.
