IRA Teleinform publishes that on September 19 the chairman of the board of directors of the gold mining company Polus, Valeriy Rudakov, headed the delegation of 11 members that visited OJSC Lenzoloto (Bodaybo area).

On September 17, 2003 the auction for the federal shareholding of Lenzoloto Company selling took place and MMC Norilsk Nickel was the winner of the tenders.

The management of CJSC Polus visited the settlements of gold miners and the enterprises of Lenzolto. During the visit there were several announcements made that no personnel changes would follow the change of the enterprise’s owner. The delegation members confirmed once more that Norilsk Nickel intended to participate in the auction for the Suhoy Log, Russian largest gold ore deposit, exploitation. One more purpose of the visit to Irkutsk region was to prepare the presentation of Norilsk Nickel in Irkutsk and Bodaybo. The presentation is planned to take place in October.
