External and Public Relations Department of the Bank of Russia informs that on September 26, 2003, the Bank of Russia issues silver and golden coins of the “Signs of zodiac” series with the Archer: the silver coins are at the face value of 3 roubles and the golden coins are at the face value of 50 roubles.

The number of coins issued is up to 30 thou pcs of both kinds. These are the legal payment method in the Russian Federation.
