As it has become known to IA RENUM, in 2003 in Amursk region there has been more gold mined than it was in 2002. At the present moment the increase has amounted to 826 kg. Experts associate such a growth with Pokrovsskiy pit’s work — hydrometallurgical factory has reached full capacity there and it has allowed increasing precious metal mining volume by over a ton.

The income of Priamurye region’s gold mining industry is planned to amount to not less than 450 mln roubles this year.
