RIA Deyta.ru publishes: In 2003 Yakut enterprises have already washed and mined 12,9 tons of the precious metal — the plan is over-fulfilled by 104%. According to the ministry of industry of Yakutia, the enterprises of Aldanskiy, Oymyakonskiy and Olekminsliy uluses are the leaders in gold production.

All the enterprises of the Republic were ready for the industrial season beforehand, but late spring broke the plans, mostly the season was started only in July. In 2003 the enterprises are to produce 17,6 tons of gold, but indeed 18,5 tons of gold are expected.
