The profit of ALROSA

< p align=justify class=ind30> The net profit of ALROSA in 2003 is predicted to be 7.5 bln roubles while in 2002 this figure being 6.47 bln. According to the president of the company in the first six months of 2003 the net profit amounted to 5 bln roubles.
< p align=justify class=ind30>However, due to the US dollar’s weakness, in 2003 ALROSA is likely to receive by 3,2 bln roubles less than it has been expected. That was the reason for ALROSA to have increased prices of diamonds by 5% since August 1, 2003.
