IRA Teleinform reports that the auction for Bolshoy Makalak gold deposit exploitation is intended to take place on August 27, 2003. The deposit is situated in Bodayba area of Irkutsk region; its resources are planned to be 757 kg.

There are two applications lodged for the participation in the auction: from CJSC Dalnyaya Tayga and Daksib ltd.
