According to the data provided to Russian Jewellery Network by the Assay Office of Russia, the tendency of annual jewellery production increase by 35% (golden jewellery) and 30% (silver jewellery) will remain in 2003.

Thus golden jewellery production volume in 2003 will amount to 18 mln pcs, silver jewellery — 12 mln pcs, platinum — 30 thou pcs, palladium — 1,5 thou pcs.

This figures have been provided by the head of the Assay Office of Russia Alexander Perevedentcev at the Internet-conference held by Russian Jewellery Network Agency.
