RIA Novosti reports that nine kg of industrial gold was confiscated from a Magadan region dweller.

In course of the seven months of 2003 there were 198 cases of precious metals and gemstones illegal turnover discovered in Far East federal region. It is by 12,3% more than of the same period last year.
