Vesti.ru reports that GOKHRAN of Russia gained millions of dollars at the auction.

According to Mr. Vladimir Rybkin, the head of GOKHRAN, the large-size diamonds (10.8 kt and more) haven’t been sold before. They accumulated in GOKHRAN. But now there are so many diamonds that there is no sense in further accumulating.

Now the diamonds have found new owners. Thirty-five Russian enterprises – jewelers with a good reputation- took part in the auction. The largest stone is 50 kt. But the price is formed by colour and cleanness. After working up the price of the diamond will increase. The stone will be worked up in Russia.

The exact sum of gain is about $35-38 mln.

Smolensk “Kristall” Company, CJSC "Ruiz Diamonds", are among the winners, bought most of plummets.
