Chukchi autonomous region will get $50 mln for gold ore “Kupol” deposit exploitation by Canadian company “Bima Gold”. It is the first large investment in the economy of the region. Under the agreement with the Chukchi government “Bima Gold” will get 75% shares on the non-ferrous metal extraction. The president of the company said if the prognosis about ore stocks proved to be correct “Kupol” would become one of the largest company projects. To the end of the year expenses will make up $8 mln instead of $6 mln planned. As the prospecting works are in great success these espenses are authorized.
