Yesterday the International Symposium “Development of Precious Metals Market” started its work in Krasnoyarsk. The event is dated to coincide with 60th jubilee of the Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant. The problems and future development of golden and platinum industry and precious metals market were discussed at the symposium. In particular, the chairman of the board of directors of the “Polus” Company V. Rudakov emphasised the questions necessary to solve in order to provide further development of gold mining industry. It is the imperfectness of tax legislation, the level of prices of power resources etc that impede the progress in the sector.

Nevertheless, according to the opinion of the symposium participants, Russian precious metals industry has every prospect of success development.
