IA “REGNUM” reports: the results of precious metals mining in January – June 2003 have been assessed. The miners of Kolyma have mined in sum 11 tons 200 kg of gold. Since 2003 the gold from Kolyma is considered to be conditional. The metal extracted includes silver as well.

The artels of the region, despite late spring have washed 2600 kg of gold. This year Magadan Fund of Precious Metals starts working with gold mining and washing groups. It is expected to become soon a competent participant of precious metals market.
