Equally with precious metals diamonds are a safe means of money investment. Moreover, diamonds are more stable in price as compared to precious metals.

In case of money investment it is more convenient to buy unset certificated diamonds in order not to pay more for settings and jeweller’s work. Companies that have special licence from the Assay Office are allowed to sell certificated diamonds. Now they are available at jewellery salons and shops only.

The principal disadvantage of “diamond investments” is low liquidity of diamonds and high taxes.
