The shareholders’ meeting of JSC “ALROSA” has elected the Supervisory Council of the company
On June 21 2003 the annual shareholders’ meeting of JSC “ALROSA” took place. Its agenda included, in particular, the question of the Supervisory Council election. There were 27 candidatures nominated, 15 members of the Council were elected at the meeting. The list of the Supervisory Council of JSC “ALROSA” includes: the deputy Chairman of the Government, the minister of finance of Russia А.Kudrin, the President of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) V.Shtyrov, the President of JSC “ALROSA” V.Kalitin, the first deputy chairman of the Government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) G.Alexeev, the assistant of the head of the President’s of Russia administration A.Anoshkin, the minister of finance of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) E.Berezkin, the Chairman of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) Government E.Borisov, the vice-president of JSC “ALROSA” representation in Moscow N Ermolaev, the minister of property relations of the SAKHA Republic G.Makarova, the first deputy minister of trade and economic development of Russia I.Materov, the first deputy minister of property relations of Russia Y.Medvedev, the executive director of JSC “ALROSA” A.Morozkin, the head of “Mirninskiy region” municipal organisation A.Popov, the head of Ministry of property relations of Russia department A.Tihonov, the head of Ministry of finance of Russia administration L.Tolpezhnikov.
JSC “ALROSA” is one of world largest diamonds mining companies (25% of world diamonds mining volume). In 2003 “ALROSA” plans to mine diamonds for $1 bln 560 mln. The company’s principal shareholders are the Ministry of property of Russia (37% of shares) and the Ministry of the State property of Yakutia (32%).
