JSC “ALROSA” Supervisory Council
JSC “ALROSA” Supervisory Council has approved the changes in the company’s senior management — Valentina Potrubenko has been appointed a vice-president, she has succeeded Semen Zelberg. At the meeting of the Council there were 27 candidates accepted for the election into the new Supervisory Council. This election will take place on June 21, 2003, at the annual shareholders’ meeting.
“ALROSA” Company is one of the world largest diamonds mining companies, its share in the world diamonds mining volume being 25 %. In 2003 “ALROSA” plans to mine diamonds for $1 bln 560 mln. Among its shareholders are the Ministry of Property of the Russian Federation (37% of shares) and the Ministry of the State property of the Sakha Republic (32%).
