Gold mining volume in Russia in the first quarter of 2003 has increased by 11,6% up to 22 tons 13,3 kg of gold (incidental and secondary gold included)
According to the Union of Gold Producers of Russia, gold mining volume in Russia in the first quarter of 2003 has amounted to 22 tons and 13,3 kg of gold (incidental and secondary gold included) that is by 11,6% more than last year figures for the analogous period.
In 2002 the total volume of the gold mined in Russia was equal to 170 tons 872 kg.
