Angola plans to develop its cutting industry. According to Finansovye izvestiya, Russian company “ALROSA” is beginning negotiations concerning its participation in Angola cutting business.

"ALROSA" has two projects in Angola: the Luo project and the Katoka deposit exploitation project. Russian company has every opportunity to fix its position in diamonds cutting sector as well.

According to Sergey Ulin, the vice-president of “ALROSA”, there has not been any official announcement made. So, it is too early for making conclusions about diamonds complex. However Russian company is ready to cooperate with Angola in the field of diamonds manufacture and realization.
