The First International Professional Diamonds Cutters Competition took place in Smolensk
In Smolensk the First International Professional Diamonds Cutters Competition finished on April 11 2003. The competition was devoted to the 40th jubilee of the Smolensk SUE "Kristall".
The practical part of the competition included three diamonds cutting: the competitors had to make two round diamonds of 0,25-0,29 ct and 0,70-0,79 ct and one "Princess" cut diamond (0,38-0,45 ct).
The cutter of SUE "Kristall" Nikolay Gradoboev has become the winner of the competition and was awarded the "Golden Quadrant" and Diploma.
