On December 11, the deputy chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexey Kudrin held a meeting with the heads of the Central Bank of Russia, the Ministry of finance, GOKHRAN, "Almasyuvelirexport" and "Norilsk Nickel" Companies.

During the meeting the decision to create a company responsible for platinum group metals export was taken.

"Norilsk Nickel" Company possesses 51% of the new company shares. "Almazyuvelirexport" Company will represent the State in the new organization (49%). The Ministry of finance suggests that new scheme will allow Russian platinoids market participants to follow more effective sales and marketing policy.
